NotesCarol Chapman was born in Kansas City, and educated at the Kansas City Art Institute, Smith College, and the Art Students’ League in New York. Her work is collected by private and corporate collections throughout the world and has been published by Christie’s Contemporary Art and the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Her versatility ranges from realism to abstract including landscape, portraiture, mixed media abstracts, and serigraphs. She is a longtime resident of Carmel California where she maintains her home and studio.
