NotesLouise Mary Kamp, nee Wahl was born in Buffalo, New York. She trained at the Albright Art Galleries Museum School in that Western New York city. She married and moved to Saugerties, New York where she furthered her studies at the Woodstock Art Association with Birge Harrison and John F. Carlson. During her life, she exhibited at the Buffalo Society of Artists (1914), the Salons of America (1927), and the Society of Independent Artists, (1927 and 1937).
