NotesLithuanian born Yuli Blumberg immigrated to New York in the 1930s. Her work was included in the Jewish Museum 2010 exhibition Shifting the Gaze: Painting and Feminism.

LYNBROOK, L. I., Nov. 13 — Yuli Blumberg, an expres­sionist painter, died yesterday at New York Hospital. She was 70 years old and lived at 12 Oakland Avenue here.

In private life she was Mrs. Feiga Blumberg Kdpman, wife of Benjamin Kopman.

Her work has been displayed at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Brooklyn Museum and the Duncan Phil­lips Gallery in Washington.

She had shows in New York at the J. B. Neumann and Dorothy Paris Galleries and at the A.C.A. Gallery, 63 East 57th Street.

Her work was also shown at the international exhibition at the Carnegie Institute in Pitts­burgh, 1948‐49. In 1956 she had a show at the Women's City Club in New York.
